Learn a little art history, a lot of technique and gain exposure to art forms used around the world. Always changing from one exciting project to another, one week we may work on sumi-e, the next we may be exploring aboriginal dot painting. Students will work with watercolor, acrylics, graphite and even clay sculpturing. All projects and materials are age appropriate.

Children’s classes meet once a week and last one hour. Tuition is $60.00 each month, in advance, and includes supplies and snacks.

Beginners are always welcome and classes are small so every student gets plenty of attention and individualized instruction.

Irene’s students have ranged from ages 2 to 62, so keep an open mind. If you want to learn at any age, there’s no time like the present. Creative expression, technical skills and exposure to many artistic styles are waiting for you.

Private lessons, as well as group classes, are available on a limited basis, but always welcome. Feel free to contact us, and we can set it up.
